Standards
All members must follow Discord Terms of Service and Discord Community Guidelines. These platform-wide rules apply in addition to our server-specific regulations. Violations may result in action by both 5th Special Forces Group and Discord.
Light or dark humor involving inequity and discrimination may be acceptable in context, but only to a certain level. If it targets someone, escalates, or makes others uncomfortable, it crosses the line. When in doubt, err on the side of respect.
Doxxing, or any attempt to find, share, or threaten to share someone's private or identifying information, will not be tolerated at any level. This includes real names, addresses, workplaces, or other personal data. Violations are taken seriously and may result in immediate removal and referral to platform or legal authorities where appropriate.
Be respectful and don't be gratuitously mean. Disagreements are fine; personal attacks, harassment, or sustained hostility are not. We expect members to treat each other with basic civility so the server remains a place people want to be.
Advertising of any other Discord server (or similar communities) without permission from administration will not be tolerated. This includes unsolicited DMs, invites in chat, or linking servers in profiles or messages. If you have a partner or related community to share, contact staff first.
Speak only English in official and general channels. It is the only language our administration can and will moderate. This keeps moderation fair and consistent for everyone. Other languages may be allowed in designated or private contexts at staff discretion.
No age-restricted or obscene content outside of the age-gated NSFW channel. This includes text, images, or links featuring nudity and sex. Graphically disturbing content, such as hard violence, excessive gore, self-harm, and pornography, is not allowed at any time, including in NSFW. When in doubt, don't post it.
If you see something against the rules or something that makes you feel unsafe, let administration know. We want this server to be a welcoming space. Reports can be made via DMs to staff or through any designated reporting channel. We take reports seriously and will act as appropriate.
No political, religious, or otherwise potentially divisive discussion in general channels. These topics often lead to conflict and can make the server uncomfortable. Keep such discussions to DMs or off the server unless a dedicated, opt-in space is provided by staff.
Do not impersonate any member of the server. This includes mimicking usernames, nicknames, avatars, or speaking as if you are someone else. Impersonation undermines trust and can be used for harassment or scams; it will be dealt with firmly.
Anything not stated in the rules & regulations does not mean it is something you can do. If you don't know if it's morally, legally, ethically, or spiritually right, it's probably not right. There are no loopholes or spin-arounds to the rules & regulations. Moderators have the final say in all matters.
